I am an Auckland-based wedding videographer and photographer, finding immense joy in being the person behind the camera. Why? Quite simply, because I am passionate about capturing and preserving those genuine emotions that weave together to create an extraordinary narrative. Those moments, big or small, that can be easily missed just because we blinked, talked to someone else or maybe just because we got so caught up in the moment. And those emotions and moments, they are yours, your partner, your family, or friends.

I’m an introvert by nature, extrovert by training. Possibly ambivert as they say it. Outside of camera talks, I’d like to think of myself as a tech and travel junkie. I am an IT Professional (yes, I still have a Fulltime job… we’ll get there!), not fixing computers but more on the network and security side of things. If time is on my side, I like to go out, drive and travel. I am originally from Philippines but now call New Zealand as home and I love it. Travelled the top and the bottom most part of NZ. This country is gorgeous! So, if you haven’t seen it, then I tell you, you should!
WHY i love WHAT I DO
There are a lot of times I see posts or questions from brides (sometimes groom) asking why book a videographer when there’s a photographer already present? And I, as a videographer, get it. You can’t hang a video on your wall like the photos, can’t print them in an album that you can have a look through when you’re in your lounge relaxing and it’s an added expense!
So why have a videographer at all? Think of it as a movie. You go into a cinema, pay to watch it for a good 2 hours, feel the emotions and know its story. Have you ever been into a movie with just slideshow of photos? Sorry I’m being sarcastic, lol. Nothing against photos as I’m a photographer as well, don’t forget that! What I’m just trying to say is when you book a videographer for your wedding, you get to reLIVE those moments! They are stills (photos) brought into life with the exact words, emotions, tears of joy, laughter and most all, the silliest of silly of the day! Your special day will go so fast and will be a blur and there will be a lot of things you might miss, and that’s where we come in. We capture those moments and take you back in it again to cherish.
My approach and style are heavily focused on my couples. You are the VIPs of my camera not me. The story is aimed to be natural, authentic, and personalised. I just want you to enjoy your special day, have a laugh and a great time. Which means interfering the fun will be as little as possible.
